The guys willing to drop down to 6k for me, and with me being 5'2 and its his ex-gf's bike, hopefully she's a short girl too so I don't have to lower it or anything...any opinions about this bike? Good or bad.....

 

i have an 05 and absolutly love it. great bikes, its my first bike and it was very easy to learn on, but i did have some experience on a honda shadow, so i knew the basics already. hope ive helped

 

The kelly blue book value for retail, based on the bike and your area is $6235.

This would assume a higher milage than 1200, but may also assume that any damage
is fixed. The photos aren't the best, and its hard to tell what damage in "the usual places" means. Did the bike tip over or go for a slide ? $6k is probably still a little high, but a'fair' price andthe milage is low so theres a trade off there. Did the first service get done on time, and is there a record of it ?

Also, I didn't see any mention of a lowering kit already installed, so I would not assume that it is lowered. Try and test it ride if you can, and make a secure and recorded transaction if you decide to buy.
