You'll need to put in a resistor. I'm not sure on the details, but I'm sure some one will chime in with them.
I've got hotbodies flush mounts w/fender elim kit and mine flash faster than "normal" but I like it, seeing that it might grab more attention from other drivers. Maybe you want to leave it? Good luck.

Yes, a resister is the quick and dirty way of doing it. attach the resister in series and it'll bering the rate down. the more you install, the slower it'll get. you can buy them at any RadioShack.
