price for my bike wrecked
Hey guys i am thinking of selling my bike instead of fixing it. The estimate is for $3008 bucks and i already got the check. I figured i could sell my bike as is and buy a new one easier than having this one fixed. The guy at honda said all the damage was cosmetic and the reason it's so high is they would replace every piece of plastic, but the rear cowl. They said it rides great. I will find out tomorrow when i go pick it up. The nose got shoved over when it fell or when the tow company mauled it straping it to the truck. I am sure they put the scratches on the nose. from ten feet out it's hard to tell she even been wrecked. Besides the right side. I was just curious as to what you guys thought she was worth. Here is the pics

RE: price for my bike wrecked
it's all cosmetic? The only stuff damaged are the plastics? no peg, stator cover, swingarm scrapes or anything? Also what year is it and where are you located? What type of accident was it in? Is the title still clean and clear? how many miles? any mods? I might be interested!
PS--sorry for all the ?'s

RE: price for my bike wrecked
lol. Saint joseph, mo up above Kansas City. It's a 2005 600rr. Some other stuff is scuffed (right mirror, crankcase, right peg, brake peddle, right turn signal). According to the service manager it rides fine. I will know tomorrow. I didn't have anymore good pics of the little pieces that are scuffed. The service guy was trying to talk me out of getting it fixed he said he would just ride it. ya it's a good title, 3800miles, no on the mods.
The accident was wierd. I got hit in the side by the passenger of another motorcycle that got ejected when the driver layed it down. the passenger hit me on the left spinning the bike about 90 degrees.(I was pretty much stopped when she hit) It tipped me and the bike to the right and i tried to stop the bike from hitting the ground. I almost had it saved when i realized what hit me and just jumped off to the right dropping the bike about halfway down. Couple guys grabbed the bike and dragged it about a foot to help the girl. Other than that i don't know. Ther are some scuffs on the front of the bike i think the towing company did. Also the nose of the bike is off a little to the left. Thats why there's a gap by the handlebar. Service guy road it about 10 block from the tow lot to the dealer.
The girl didn't live. Impact on the ground and fake helmet. Guy driving the bike is up on involintary manslaughter due to driving under the influence. That the whole story man. I am not 100% sure i will sell it, but i like my stuff in mint condition and i don't like wrecked stuff. Just never seems the same to me. Rather just go get a new one.
