Power Comander
So with the soon arrival of my new girl:Dim getting a Yosh RS-5 slip on, is a power comander a must here?

RE: Power Comander
Not a must but it will help you out.

RE: Power Comander
get a power commander its like walking outside with one shoe on just doesnt feel equal or quite right
|
RE: Power Comander
Its not a must.
You could put a PC III in a stock bike and it will help. I'd get a full system exhaust. |
RE: Power Comander
With a slip on...
is it a must ??? No Is it nice to have?? Sure |
RE: Power Comander
*if* you get it spend the money on getting it mapped. I had a 600RR with a Yosh SO on a PC III. Mapping made all the difference in the world.

wow 9hp is quite a diff!

RE: Power Comander
Wouldn't an exhaust be asking the cops to mess with you? I wanna go the power commander/K&N filter/slip on exhaust way, but I don't want anything that's too loud (cop magnet).

RE: Power Comander
you have to choose the right slip-on. my 2 bros is rediculously loud compaired to my buddies yosh. d&d is probably the loudest thing ive ever heard. and if im not mistaken micron isnt very loud.

RE: Power Comander
The Micron on my boys F4i was the loudest thing I've ever heard. I've heard the D+D's are ridiculously loud as well. I have a 2Bros cf slip on and with the sound dampener, and it's not that bad at low rpm's but when you get on it it's louder but not too bad... plus loud pipes help the cagers be more aware of you as well.
I've never had a problem with cops about the loudness of my pipe. |
