Whats up everybody. New to the forum. I have aorange 06 CBR 600RR and have donea few mods. The one headlight is driving me crazy. I was wondering if it is possible to change the housing for the bright light so that I can run on both dim. From Houston and light is nota problem. It is my first street bike and I have had it 6 months. Already went with leds blinkers and brake lightsand want to go with hids. I have searched everywhere I can think of. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

Just aim the bright side down a bit. I run HID's and leave both on all the time.

 

I agree with TheX, I also run both HID's at the same time.

One light isn't brighter than the other. They both have the same 12v-55w H7 bulb but the "high beam" is aimed........well high. Use the adjustment screws to lower the high beam's "beam" to the low beam's hieght (facing a closed garage door helps), and you'll be fine. There's no need for rewiring or resitors or anything like that, just beam adjustment. (Plus you can melt your harness wiring in stuff like that.)

Since I run HID's (and they're freaking bright as F***), I lowered the high beam to the hieght of the low beams, and I can still see for miles, thanks to the "linebeam" design of the headlight..........and, well the HID's help too, lol. - BEST MOD YOU CAN EVER MAKE!

I just run brights all the time.... makes me more visible..and at least passer by know im a moto not a car with a light out....
