Default Pilot Road 2

I have been searching but unable to find if anyone has tried these tires. I am going on my third pair of tires and I need something to last longer than 5000 miles. I have Pilot Powers on and I think they are great but wear out too fast as I spend 85% of the time commuting. Has anyone taken the pilot road 2 into corners?

its a sport touring tire...

i mean its not going to be as fun as if you had the regular PP's on it but they will def last longer.

I guess what I'm trying to find out is if you have to take corners really slow and be carefull not to lean the bike too far over. If they are unsafe I won't get them.

Funny timing. I just put them on. Just got done scuffing them. ~250 miles on them. The pic should explain how "slow" you have to go through corners. I know I need to invest into some riding pants.

Left knee:

Summary:
Great tires!! I spend 100% of my time commuting/cruising. NO track time.Best price found at www.motoXoutlet.com I paid $295 shipped to my door (near Chicago). They're out of Utah.

I run an auto shop (have been in the industry for close to 10 years) and know tires quite well. Research landed me on the Pilot Road for my last bike. Totalled out in September with only a thousand or so miles on the tires. Those were perfect for what type of riding I do. At ~7500 miles the OE Dunlop Sportmax wore out on my '07 this year. The 2CT feature seemed to be an even better performing tire for aggresive riding. So far it's proven that. If I did track time, I'd probably go with the Pilot Powers. Good luck.

Hmmm....I can't seem to get the pics to stay copied in my post. Oh well, just download them. The top pic is of the left knee and the bottom the right. It doesn't matter though...you can still drag a knee comfortably in the PR2!!!!

My 07 came with the pilot road 2's and they are wearing really good.I have no problems with cornering, the tires grip well.
