i am swapping an 04 tail on my f1, i am making the rear seat fully functional/removable just like on a stock 600rr. i have the cross plate that it mounts too, as well as the hook guide and helmet hook. can someone take a few pics of the rear seat/trunk area with the rear seat off. specifically how the helmet hook is attached.

am i right that you remove the rear seat, put the strap in the helmet hook, then reinstall the seat so the helmet hangs on the side?

 

On my 600rr I dont use the "helmet loop" i just put the big D clip from the helmet on the seat hook guide as u call it, then snap the seat back on... works for me
