Default paint job suggestions...

Hey all-

Have a 07 red/blk 600 that is going under the gun in about a month...paint gun that is...

I was raised in a car shop doing general repairs during the day and building 1/4mile runners in the evenings with my dad...our love...sleepers. Flat black sleepers at that...

I am planning on going full flat (satin) black with the bike and was looking for some input from other owners...

Decals...should I have any badges or decals (NGK, RK, Michelin, Honda etc.) on the bike or would flat black say enough? Ive seen some guys paint their race fairings and without any stickers it just looks a bit plain...

any thoughts?
Thanks,
shiny...err...flat/shiny side up

stickers are cool..but poser-ish if you don't have skills. Respol bike + new rider = faaaaaaaag.

Well if you are trying to keep the theme of a sleeper bike (not sure if that's possible with a CBR), I wouldn't throw on any decals.

Flat paint sucks. Whenever I see a bike or car with flat paintit makes me think it waswrecked and the owner is too cheap to fix it right. It looks ghetto.

^I would have to disagree. Flat paint isn't right for every vehicle though. A Mercury led sled looks amazing with flat black, along with some rat rods and choppers. I think it would be interesting to see on a CBR. Everyone has their own taste though.

Yea..."fix it right"

what is that anyways?
"right" is different for all...

Actually I did like the honda flat option...but the stickers were idiotic (to me) and Im not paying an additional grand for it...

Trust that its not one of those situations where the owner wrecks it and cant afford to fix it...my dad loves bikes but can't ride- he loved sleepers when he had the shop so its more along the lines of a bike/paint job for him. He loved the idea but I was just curious about sticker addons.

Thanks for the thoughts guys-
enjoy the ride
