Default OK now raising the handle bars

Any one raised their clip ons, how hard is it can they be lowered quickly or is this a permanent deal, I thought about doing this for long trips but I like stock for riding around normaly. anything new out there that is adjustable or easily changed, and anyone had theirs long enough to have an objective opinion about this, or will I die if I change the clip-ons... LOL... [:-][:-]PS I'll catch hell for that one. Seriously tho let me know if ya got'em

Every one I know that has raised them via Helibars, didn't like what they did to the handling of the bike, but did like the improved comfort, some removed them and sold them on Ebay...just like lowering...it's your call.

There's also Convertibars, but they're pretty expensive...Iheard thebars off the 929 or 954 will fit an '03 and Iknow someone who hasa 1998 CBR900rr's on his '03...be advised though, higher bars mean less clearance from the already close enough front fairing, so you might have to break out the Dremel tool...I'm sorry...was I being a know it all?
