So this past wednesday,my boy from lowjack came to chk on my system to make sure it wus operating properly.
long story short, we turned it on for literally 10-15sec turned it off parted ways and went on about our evening.

now keep in mind i havnt rode for about 5+days prior to that wednesday.

so fri nite comes, ii want to take it out for a ride. turn the key in on mode, light comes on, hit the fuel switch..FUEL PUMP PRIMES.
i got to press ignition and it wont turn over at all..it kinda cranks n the starter iis tryin its best but nothing.

so then ii try 2 push start it..nothing! gave up. called it a nite.

(ii figured it wus my battery...maybe we drained a good amount of life on WEDNESDAY for it not 2 start?)

so my same homeboy brought his battery chrger SATURDAY (TODAY). ii chrged it for about 3.5hrs only bcuz the directions sed wen fully chrgd, the little "red" light wud turn "green."

so ii put it bak in...proceeded to turn it on and same thing nothing...

SO I *CHECKED* fuses and relays, ALL G00D!

went2 autozone..tested battery, itread like b/t 2-3volts
so it SEEMED it wusnt holding the charge.

So0o0o....went to walmart bought NEW battery got home put it in..and once AGAIN,....NOTHING. So ii try 2 push start it again n it turns on! yes!!!

went out to the club like planned...didnt want to turn it off but had 2..came bak out after the nite ended n THANKFULLY n by the good graces of GOD. it turned on.

i will try to turn it on 2morr...but does any1 have any clue as to wat mite be wrong?????????

 

The new battery didn't have enough charge?

 

Sounds liek you have something causing a short/drain somewhere.

 

Is something hot on the lowjack that is draining the battery?

 

Well went out to the garage today and tunred it on and it started up fine. so iim assuming that when i push started it last night(sat) and rode to the club, the bike chrged it or gave it some more "juice"; enufffor it to work now. so i *THINK* :-/ everything iiz fine...

however, my next q would be if anyone knows if that battery should be under warranty still?

i would go chk the manual, but its raining right now n i cant get 2 the garage..

 

Similar situation last week. No problems since though.

 

Prolly flooded the engine when you tried to push start it with the bad battery, and the good battery push start cleared it off.

did you get smoke/ fuel smell/ backfiring when it finally push started?

Batteries are wear items (it might have a 1 year warranty, but I doubt it)

 

^^most likely wut happened. but no back fire..a slight sputtering, and mostly fuel smell for about3-5mins
