sounds good i think i would need the short one. If they are such good filters why are the so cheap? I have a left over amsoil filter new will that compare. I didnt like the oil because i still shifted hard so i am going to try a new oil. Should i try a new filter also or keep the amsoil 1. I no the amsoil 1 is alot more then 6 bucks.
LET ME NO THANKS FOR PUTTIN UP WITH MY QUESTIONS

It's not that they're cheap, it's that the others are expensive. I use the Purolator ML16817, about $6. For the 600RR and my 954RR, I've got 60K miles on the 954, no issues, about 10K pretty hard miles on the 600, and again, no issues.
At one time, I heard Purolator made the OEM ones for Honda. Don't know if that is true anymore.

sweet thanks for the help. Have you tried many different oils and found repsol was the smoothest on ur shifting? I think i am going to give it a shot but i was just shocked that amsoil of all oils did not make my shifting better at all. I no it wont be perfect but i rode my buddys 06 and man his was really smooth and he uses amsoil. However he did blow 3rd gear doing a burnout and had the shop replace it. this could be y it was so smooth, i am unsure. ANY THOUGHTS.

I have used Honda, Royal Purple, Amsoil, Castrol, Repsol, Mobil 1, Rotella, just about everything you can think of. I tried out the Repsol because it was on sale and heard good things about it; I can get the Repsol locally at an excellent price and I was quite happy with its shifting. It gives me the smooth shifts that I need, especially on the race bike. I use the Repsol 4T Sintetico oil. I am pretty hard on the tranny on the 600 (shifting without using the clutch, high RPMs, etc) and it is still holding up and smooth.
And yup, a rebuild and adjustments can smooth it out more.
