Looking for opinion on what the most obnoxiously loud, cop irritating, neighbor pissing off, eardrum splitting pipe available for an 05 600RR is. Had a Muzzy RO pipe on my 94 CBR600 and it saved my *** a few times. If the moron in the car on the cell phone doesnt see me I want them to hear me. Not concerned if it is street approved. Any help would be greatly appreciated as most of the ones in my area are more concerned with how their new pipe looks rather than how it sounds. As I am new to this site, just want to say this is definitely a must view site for all CBR owners. You guys stay safe out there.

Lang, if you have heard a D&D in person on a 600RR and rated it a 10 for loudness(for comparison reasons) what would you rate your two brothers?

I havent personally heard one. But i have just heard from friends that they are insane. My two bros is a loud pipe. It screams, if i am riding next to a friend and want to talk to him i have to pull in the clutch, i cant be on the gas what so ever. Compared to stock when it wasnt a problem. The loudest i would go is prob my two bros. but thats my opinion.

its not just about loudness. 2bros is loud, make no mistake about that. but it's a good deep throaty loud. d&d is just anoyingly loud. high pitched screaming. like the little kid in the cart in the checkout line next to you. annoying and loud.

my opinions, of course. i'm not trying to offend anyone who likes the d&d. i just don't like it.

Yeah Im with you guys. My two bros is the best I have heard quite a few, from doing research. But I love my two bro's. Oh yeah and get the carbon because I can reach down and grab my pipe after I have been riding for hours, so that eliminates having to reinstall the heat shield and you won't get the whole passenger seat warming action either...Definately Two Bro's...

 

I have a carbon fiber two bros and love the sound. D&D, definately obnoxious. But to me not much louder than my two bros.
