So I am looking at a Blue 2004 CBR 600RR for around $7,500 at my local dealer. It has about 2,000 miles on it and is in really great shape, but the price still seems high to me. I have not been able to find a good cheap bike, and blue is not my first color choice. Tell me what you think about the bike, and or any ideas on how to bring the price down a bit? I don't know about the 7500 for a 2004. I know lots of times where I have looked and found like used 05 600rr's for like 6500 with low miles and tons of mods. I made the mistake of buying an 06 from the dealer, i didnt' realized at the time that I could have gotten a better price for a used one and not had to pay for additional fees ya know? If I could do all of this over again, I would have gone and bought a used 05 600rr with black tribals and exhaust for around 6500. I suggest you look around with a few private dealers and stay away from dealers. Oh yeah, miles doesn't really matter on a bike too much.

 

welcome to the forum! although that blue 04 is pretty hard to find... i don't think it's worth $7500. keep looking and you'll find a better deal. prices will be inflated this time of year though. i know a guy here who's selling his 03 600RR for $5500. too bad you're far away!

 

if you do go with it just make sure you want it. dont settle for the blue if its not the color you want. there are tons of bikes out there and if you keep looking you will find something you want.
