Need Help Installing Driven Bar Ends
 

Has anyone successfully installed these on their 600RR? I'm having a very hard time...according to the manufacturer I'm supposed to tap two clips in and either push in or remove piece number #11 in the diagram here

I did this and now the bar end will not bite the threads.
