Iam going to buy a 2nd handCBR 600 but the shop has two CBR 600 04 & 05.I do not know which 1 to buy but the 04 cost less & and the 05 cost more.What is the difference between the two & betterfor value.

 

colors.. a few updates.. a tad more power... what's the difference in price...... the change is minimal.. what are the differences between 04/05 for you..... price/color/milage.... waht is most important to you?

I have an 04, although it doesn’t have the USD forks they still have all 3 adjustment and they are thicker by 4mm hence better performance. it’s also much more forgiving than that later models IMO.it was also the first race bike made to look like a street bike and not the other way round. You’ll also be able to do lots more mods. I thought about getting the 07 model then thought whytrade something I am so happy with.

i have an 05 and having ridden an 04 i can say the radial brakes on the 05 are progressively better and i don't run as wide in corners as i did on the '04. granted better skilled riders wouldnt have those problems on the 04 but the differences in the 05 are nice. then again i had conti road attacks on the 04 and dunlops on the 05 which could account for the running wide. theres something about the 03/04's thicker tail that makes the bike's look flow better, like a fighter jetimo. whichever year you choose you can't go wrong, it's a cbr!
