sapple89, im sorry i dont exactly know the value of bikes but i WILL say that is a amazing looking RR and the 'scratch on the windscreen' shouldnt reeeeeeeally hurt its value, lol. w/ a bike like that i wouldnt let a scratched windscreen sway my decision on purchasing it.

have you tried looking on www.craigslist.com or www.ebay.com to compare prices and see what they're going for? or you could always look on this very forum in the 'bikes for sale' section to see what something like that could go for.

sorry i couldnt help, i noticed you still had no replies so i thought i'd chime in w/ something, anything lol.

again, one hell of a machine! looks great.

I think that more details would be important for both us and you to know. For sure a scratch on the wind screen is not going to hurt its value, kinda a pain to replace the windscreen, but it is winter here, so that shouldn't be a problem!

Let us know more details!

The windscreen takes literally 5 minutes to change.

Sorry I dont have more info. Its a craigs list ad.

I have been searching for a bike for the past 3 months. Its not easy for me to pull the trigger on any bike. As a 19 year old student this will be my most expensive purchase. Because of that factor I have been unable to pull the trigger on any bike in fear that I am not getting a good deal.

that bike is a beauty for sure. if it's not far from you, take a drive over and give it a good look in person. if you're lucky maybe there's a cbrforum member near you or even near the bike that can take a peek at it for you and give you a better idea if its worth what they're asking for it.

like i said, just see if you can find similar bikes on craigslist or ebay and see what they're going for.

It looks clean to me but i think its worth $5,000 OBO I would try to talk them down to $4500 cash. This reason is #1 the bike is now 5 years old. #2 the new 2009 RR are out and the 07 goes for around $6500 to $7000. I picked up an 07 for $6700 with alot of mods and a 3 year warranty. So an 04 no matter how great of condition is in should be less than $6000 mainly because of the year.
