Default My Blue/Silver 2007 CBR600RR

Finally got her home yesterday! I have very little experience on bikes, so I'm taking it slow. I went to DMV today to take my permit test and got that, and I scheduled my MSF course. My helmet and jacket are on the way, and I'm looking for a good set of gloves and pants to buy, any suggestions? Something that will offer good protection, but looks nice too (no jean-looking stuff!). Anyway, I absolutely love the bike, even though I haven't gotten out of first gear yet. I plan on taking it veryyy slowly....I've been waiting 5+ years to get a bike, and I certainly don't mind taking a few more months and do things right and be safe. Here are the few pictures I have at the moment, once I can borrow someone's camera again I'll definitely be taking more, I can't stay away from her!

I will get stomped by your bike, but I will be buying the 08 GSXR like the other squids. I hate the 07 Honda.

Of course dude, don't worry...I would never ride as I appear in that picture, it was only a little photo shoot lol. My jacket should be arriving Friday, and I just found out my Suomi helmet was out of stock at RideGear.com so I placed a 2 day shipping order of the same helmet from kneedraggers.com. KD.com matched the lower price of RideGear....very cool of them. I need riding pants!!! It's hot out, so I need something cool that will still protect me without breaking the bank....any ideas?

I definitely wanna get some flush mount front signals and obviously a fender elimintor kit. I was looking at the "SS" kit that has been mentioned a few times on here from BikeLitez, I haven't seen too many kits for the 07 yet and that one seems to be the nicest. I also want to get some frame sliders and have been so tempted to place the order for the Two Bros exhaust.

Would anyone with an 07 with an aftermarket exhaust be willing to get a soundclip/video up? I know that it won't sound the same as in person, but I just want some suggestions and a bit of an idea of what I'm about to spend a few paychecks on. Thanks for the comments guys, I love the bike and am looking forward to learning from all you guys on here, and hopefully I can help a few people out too. Safe riding.

Yeah I was checking out the cowl....does anyone have any pictures of the blue color on a bike? All I can find is a picture of the cowl not on a bike. And just now I was looking at the passenger pegs....taking them off wouldn't be a problem? I noticed that they had a metal shield that covered the rear brake fluid resovoir, not an issue?
