I avg. 36 mpg with over 10,000 miles. Its been pretty consistant.

a true calculated 45 mpg going65-72 mph hwy and some short intown driving. sitting mostly up right and only giving it the throttle a few times. if I layed down and stayed off the throttle I would think close to 50 mpgis possiable but I'm not driving 2 hours like that.

on the back roads I see about 25-30 maybe less never reallytook the time to figurethe back road driving mpg so this would be a guess based on a rough idea of miles and roughly how much gas was used

My 06 gets anywhere between 35-46 MPG. 38 when I'm putting it through it's paces and 46 only if I really baby the thing.

The last tank, I averaged 46 MPG because I was riding it with my roommate that was breaking in his new 07 (and he's new at riding). So, we took it very easy on the bikes. He was averaging 48-50 MPG during his break-in. He's done with breaking in his bike, so we'll see if he continues to get better milage than me.

I seem to average about 36-42 MPG so far and I'm almost to 10k miles now on my 04. +/- depending onw how I ride.
