Hey All.... Was sittin at work the other day daydreamin about my bike when a coworker brought me the latest issue "june07" of motor cyclist mag... on the cover was the blue and silver cbr 600rr along with the ducati 1098, kawasaki zx-r6, suzuki gsx-r1000,yamaha yzf-r1.. Theyput the five through a series of different runs. And they picked the RR as the tops for the class of 07..They had a dyno breakdown on all 5.. 600rr 105.2 bhp@13,750 and 44.1lb-ft@11,250 quarter mile time of 10.94 sec @126.49mph in case anyone wanted to know... I wont go into to many details of the artical but i will end with a quote from the artical "few bikes we've tested have possesed such a perfect balance of outright competence and all-around accessibility as hondas latest" Just thought yall might be interested.. The 07 is slower in the quarter mile than the 05/06 models? (well, according to their data anyway).

Motorcyclist Magazine has the previous gen 600RR at 10.49 @ 133.3 and 106.9 horsepower. But I'm willing to bet they tested the 07 on a sort of off day for it. The 07's do handle MUCH better though. They also feel much lighter on their feet as well (thanks to Honda giving it a diet.)
