i have a 07 CBR 600RR but i'm only 5'2' and need lowering links were can i get them and how much ?

why? Do you drop your bike when you come to a stop?

seriously... i think you SHOULD have gotten a bike that was comfortable to your height from the get-go! but since you didn't, try just getting use to holding yourself up on one leg when you come to a stop, kinda like a human kickstand, and push off that when you get going (from redlight to green), kinda like a skateboard. u dont want to depend on a lowerin link because god forbid that it goes out or breaks, your suspension is F'd up

ive got the same problem - i'm 5'5 and i've dropped my bike 5 times at a standstill. think about the advice you're offering - get a bike that fits. for hardbodys thatd be like a buell low lightning or a ninja 250, and nobody wants to ride one of those. lowering the bike affects the handling and the ground clearance, but most shops argue that if it's for safety, go ahead and lower it an inch. i'm not lowering mine - i'd rather have scuffed up mirrors and frame sliders and perfect handling than clean sliders and a bike i don't feel like riding.

chef you said it, my girl is not as tall as i am and her bike is way too tall, but she likes the better ride.

dude you have a problem because i am 5'6" and i flatfoot both feet on my 600RR and my 1000rr

not everyone is "built" the same. where you have longer legs he may have longer torso.

Its not a good I dea to lower you bike, HOWEVER, if you are going to do it either way, you can flip your link on there now (in the shape of a triangle) to the opposite direction (where the hypotenuse is on the opposite side as before) it will lower is about 2 1/2" - 3" and no money out of pocket.

wow that's cool - i might have to try that if i ever run it at the 1/4 mile track. so for the rear just flip the link (i'm sure it'll make more sense when i'm in there) and for the front just raise the fork tubes up in the tree the same amount as the link flip lowers the rear? or is there any more to it?
