So I am lookin to buy a bike...probably this week. I went to the local dealer, and really like the 06 600rr. They said retail price is 8900, but he'd knock off 1000 for me...right off the bat?? hmm..Then I asked if he could install a aftermarket pipe for me, and include it in the price so my loan would pay for that too. So he shot me a final price of 9929.11 w/pipe. and 9400 out the door tax, title, plates...this sounds pretty high. i don't think id get the pipe there. he was charging me 560 for a 2bro's pipe, and 300 to install it...

2006 600rr out the door, tax, title, plates....what is a good price? I don't want to rush in and pay too much.

umm u can do better...do the pipe yourself..and save a lot of money..cause that pipe will cost u even more after interest builds..

 

Your in luck cause even if your not mechanically inclined(i don't know if you are or aren't) you picked the best company to install a slip on for. Two bros has high quality digital pics and detailed instructions for Literally every step on uninstalling your old exhaust and installing their new one. That includes every nut and bolt for the plastics and eveything. So not only will you save 300 for not paying installation fees but you will learn somethin new and if you don't buy the pipe from them you can find it a hell of alot cheaper on the internet.

As for the bike price...I would fight till i got my out the door price matching or beating the MSRP. It can be done no problem, and if they throw you the bull**** line that they don't make anything off of them they are lying just keep twisting their arm and they will fold for your business(most likely)

 

I agree you can get a better price. I paid 9400 out the door for my 06 600rr with the cowl, the 4 year honda extended warrenty, and gap

 

you can do better. I paid 9000 (included tax, tag, title, frame sliders and installation, GAP, and 5 year Honda Warranty) for my 06 600rr.

I have purchased 4 bikes from these guys, and the price is advertised. And they are very fast, you are in and out!!!
