Thanks to all for taking the time to look. I wanted something to bring out the tribal design without "SCREAMING LOOK AT ME". I've never ran across another tribal in my area, and it's a big area, but I just wanted it to be a little different than most. I was bummed to hear someone tried it in red, thought I was the original. Some tried to talk me into red to match the RR and racing under the CBR decal. I thought red would separate too much, blue just added to the design.

Looks good. I might do the same for my wife's tribal but in hot pink. She wants to paint the whole thing pink unsing a different color for the tribal highlights. I said no way unless you find a complete different set of plastics.

Melissa, my wife, has a cool Alpinestars short sleeved shirt that has a couple different shades of grey and some pink that would look sweet painted on a bike. I think Honda is missing the boat going with a pumpkin colored bike. I think they would see more bikes if they risked going with a cool color targeting chicks like the colors I described above. Take a look at the new silver Honda uses on the new 06 1000RR then add some kind of pink highlights like outlining the lighter silver wings. By the way I am seriously thinking of buying that silver 06.

 

It's actually pin stripping tape. I bought the tape from a shop because I have a friend that is good at detail work on cars. I wanted to do a trial run with something that is easily removed incase I didn't like it. I'm going to use the tape to make sure I still think it looks good for a couple months. I've talked to an airbrush shop, they referred me to a paint guy that will do the work, I still need to contact him. At least now I have the image to tell him what I want done. What about the honda wings on the tank, and honda on the bottom fairing? Should I do those in a blue out line? The wings on the tank are too small to use the tape for a test.

 

You might be able to use a graphics program to outline the wings on the tank and the Honda on the bottom faring to see how it will look.

 

Yea thats a nice shade of blue,looks different and real nice. Dunno what you think,but how about matching the blue with some blue rim tape for your wheels,maybe 3mm or 6mm,im not sure how it would look but its an idea. Im gonna do it on my black CBR but in either Red,Gold or Silver,im not sure yet.

Looks tight. When you gonna get rid of them reflectors? and that fender? Makes the bike look so much cleaner.
