Just got my LV SBK in the mail today. The instructions that came with it suck, so I will be putting it on tomorrow. When I ordered it, it said there is a removable silencer to reduce noise. So, is it already installed? and how do I remove it? I also noticed a loose piece in the box. It's a flat round metal disk with 5 holes drilled in it like a + , or an x i guess depending on how you use your imagination... Does this go to anything?

Sorry. Nice guess. But wrong. I don't know what your previous experiences are but that round piece is for European bikes. No one answered before I went to put it on, so I called LV. They told me to throw it away.

Yep. Toss it. Did you finger out how to remove the silencer? Small screw in outlet pipe. Underneath. Slides right out.

By the way, the instructions sucked hard. One-man install was a P I T A!! If it didn't look so damn nice on my bike and sound so damn good, I'd be pissed. But it was worth it. Carbon Fiber!!!!!!
