One more question, just want to know how many quarts of oil this machine holds. Want to do an oil change and don't want to over buy the oil. Thanks.................

 

Best I'm finding in a quicky search is 3 qts. (2.9 litre w/filter change)

My beastie is a F3, so I don't have the manual for your baby. Hopefully, someone who
does will pipe up. I usually find it cheaper to buy the bulk gallons, rather then the
individual quarts.

What year is the bike? I'm not sure about the 03-06 but the 07+ is 3 quarts with a filter change

 

She's running an 06, I believe.

Manual says 3.1 qts. You'll be fine with 3 like the others have mentioned.

 

I have an 06 cbr600rr and i just put in 3 quarts and fillied it. dealer told me 4 so now I have an extra quart.

Don't forget the filter and be sure to check your oil levels with the bike straight-up vertically, on the main or rear-stand. Also, I tuck a piece of cardboard under the filter to divert the spill off to headers into the collector pan, as I loosen it.
