Just wondering about how far you tend to ride before you need to stop & get off the bike?

You run the tank out?

You get off in about 1 hour? 2 hours? 1/2 hour?

i usually go about 2 hours or so before I have to get off and stretch the legs

 

I could ride till my tank went dry, fill'er up and go some more. It really depends on the day, how much time I have, where i want to go, do I have any of my buddies riding with me, is my girlfriend riding on back ETC. Any one of those reasons will help to determine how far and how long. I love to ride. Its plain and simple. Then again I have no problem ridding when its 30 degrees outside or if its pouring rain. I ride in the rain all the time. You might think im crazy but its very good practice for those times you get caught off guard by mother nature. I truely feel that you should get plenty of seat time in all types of weather so you are better prepared. Especially when riding at night.

 

i can go until i need to fill up.

 

I am pretty tall so riding much over an hour really kills my back. I try to stop every hour and just stretch quick.

 

right about the 2hr mark i usually stop to stretch.

 

Long rides tank to tank ( easy to lay on the tank and take the presure of my back and hands) but in town until my hands hurt from stop and go trafic

 

2-3 Hours.



Now I don't ever "get off the bike!?!?" it is not my type.

 

2 to 3 hours is good for me.

I'm tall as well so the strech is good

 

I like to ride an hour or so when riding with buddies it's nice to stop and discuss where you are riding to or any one needs gas and stretch legs .
