depends on how your riding... riding hard I either tag the clutch a little bit and slam it, or just blip the throttle and slam it... it's the same either way, you just need to cut torque for a millisecond so you can get it out into the next gear... and uhhh... pop the clutch with the throttle slammed in 2nd and see what happens, it's fun.

I use no clutch when I am crusing with only one hand on the bars, I also alternate with clutch and no clutch when rideing hard cant say when I decide to use it and when not mostly when I am going fast and don't want to pull the clutch and rattle the bars. (the little twitch you get when you clutch very fast)

yeah you just have to cut the throttle real fast... not very much, just enough to unload the engine...

you can either do that or just tap the clutch, you don't need to pull it in more than 1/4 of an inch...

I apply a little upward pressure the the shift lever, then I roll off the gas a little and bring in the clutch just a little and last let the clutch out and roll on some gas. I try to be as smooth as I can and not spend too much time with the clutch in and the rpm down. I learned this reading something on sportrider.com

The only time I fully engage the clutch is while the bike is stopped, never while doing a gear change. I don't do clutchless shifts.

If done correctly how will this affect wear on the clutch?

As long as you're smooth with clutchless shifting, I don't think that it has any negative affects. At high RPMs, near the rev limiter, it's a lot smoother than using the clutch. I have two seasons of racing on my current race bike, never use the cluch for upshifting and it's still good.
