HIDs

Hi, I just got an '05 600RR and am new to the forum. I wanted to get some HIDs but don't have the money for the entire conversion kit yet. Will just getting some H7 bulbs be okay for now? Can I simply replace my stock ones with these and not worry about any overheating, shorting out, etc?
I'm looking at some Eurodezign ones on eBay which are 8500K and say they're blue. I read somewhere that anything over 6000K and they look more purple, is that true? Any advice would be great, thanks.

RE: HIDs

Higher wattage bulb like cool blues will toast your wiring harness an HONDA won't warranty it. As far as HIDs I have one kit and I haven't had a problem but that will also void the warranty. They run less watts than stock 35w but use higher voltage thru the kit. Stock wiring runs the 12v and the wiring in the kit (heavier gauge wiring) carries I think 30k volts.

So is it a bad idea to just get the bulbs then? The description from Euro Dezigns is that they won't overheat or mess up the wiring and can simply just replace your stock bulbs. Has anyone got just the bulbs and not the full conversion kit? Would you recommend it?
