RE: HID questions...again
they would work with no overheating problem. As as far as I know...HID feel means they're hyper white or slighty blue....it's not really going to be HID but it's going to be better than stock. I would rather put PIAAs rather than some cheapos..but that's just me.

RE: HID questions...again
i got my kit on ebay for $245 shipped (thats for both hi/low). its actually a kit for a car.....which made it harder to install. over all, i'm very satisfied with the way everything turned out in terms of price/quality/look of the final product. for an auction from the same seller i got mine from: click here
ummm..........the install wasn't the easiest. actually........installing it wasn't the hard part....finding where to put everything was hard. i'm still not 100% satisfied with where i have everything placed and will probably go back and re-do everything when i get some free time. very frustrating process b/c the kit is designed for a car....which is compacted to fit into an engine bay, where as this you're placing pieces of the kit throughout your various placese of your bike (i.e- from headlight to battery and finding enough space to hide the ballasts, relays, and wires). i'm sure a lot of people have a better setup than what i have now, and i'm not the most mechanically inclined person. but i'm still really happy with the kit all in all.
for those that are interested where i put the ballasts, i put one on the rightside beneath the radiator hose....and the other i put inside the box where the tool kit goes (again...not the best place to put it...but the only place that had room for at the time). the relay for the kit is underneath the black flap on the side (beneath the seat and gas tank) which it really doesn't fit there.....and i'm really not happy with it there b/c the flap doesn't fit into place correctly and kinda bulges out. i would put it somewhere else but the wires are too short and i HAD to put it there for the time being until i splice those wires and hide it somewhere else.
