was it hard to install, what did it cost you, and overall do you recommend it?

Did you have to bastardize your headlight housing to install the bulbs? Did you install low beam only or both beams? How hot do the transformers get?
Do you have an softcopy of the installation instructions? I would love toread them before I order the HID system.

I didnt start the thread, but you will not need to do any mod's to your housing. Bulbs are a direct swap. You can do both low/high beams or just the low. The transformers that I have installed never got hot.

Do a search for HID here. Any thread that was started or replied to by "BlueFox" will be more than hopefull for you. He is a expert when it comes to HID conversions for your CBR. gl.

the stock hi-beams on the '07 600RRare very bright to me compared to my zx6r. I have had other cars flash their lights at me. I ride with the hi's on only as I don't like the 1 light low-beam setup. don't need to change the light setup on the 600RR, but for my zx6r maybe...

I got the kit from 1tail.com and it stated it was for a 07 CBR RR. When I got the kit in the mail it stated it was from bikelitez. I did not have to make any mods to the headlight housing its self. I would highly suggest that if you do get a kit getthe onewith the small ballast. It was hard to find a good place to mount the ballest and still beable to remount the lower fairings. The kit cost was 239.95 plus shiping.

man yall are getting ripped off on these hid kits. search Ebay for them, i got the slim ballast kits for both lights and got them shipped to me for 119 total. ive bought a couple of different hid systems from this guy to install on my bike, my jeep, and 3 friends trucks, and havent had any problems with any of them. just my .02 oh yea here is the link to get them and the price has gone down since i bought them. now they are 105

ALSO make sure you get the "auto kit" no that doesnt mean its for a car it just means that there are 2 lights in the kit instead of 1 like in the "motorcycle kit"

and for you people with an 07 here is a write up on installing them, yes they use a different kit but its the exact same wire setup

The kits (H7) seem to be available in 5,000, 6,000, 8,000 and 10,000 color temperature. Am I correct that the clearest pure white highest intensity woould be the 5,000.
