Thank you all for the replies makes me miss riding, readin on here but as you all said... i'll be back on in no time and have my baby looking beautiful once again haha. I'm looking forward to rebuilding her although i'd prefer to just get back home and be able to ride again.

ORIGINAL: CBRclassic

Mate .... your last ride before leaving ? ain't that a bitch !.... but seems to be what happens ...we call it " Murphy s Law "

As you say though , it could have been worse..
I am sure you will get your ride back to her old self when you get home

Bazman .. is in NewZealand, he is a very nice guy and a member here with a great old Cane ...
and he does his own rebuilds !

Coming to Aust hu? kool ! who do you do your conservation work with mate ?

I'm working with a company called conservation volunteers new zealand or 'CVNZ' which are basically the same company as 'CVA' in australia... they're a great company and i've seen a lot of new zealand already, i've been here 6 weeks and have 14 left so i'm looking forward to the rest of my time here. i'll definately look up Bazman that'll be cool. I'm going to the south island in 2 days though and i'll be in the bush for 4 weeks in the middle of nowhere so i may leave that until i get back haha. thanks again guys. this forum is the best and all you guys are cool.. keep it safe everyone

Nah there's no rash luckily... that's just mud from where we both slid along the grass haha. I'm still in new zealand at the moment too I'm dying to get back and work on her. My mate always starts it for me and he's washed it etc I'm actually looking forward to putting her back together. I dont get home until march next year though As you can see i've destroyed and ripped off the clocks, smashed the intake and bent and scratched a fair old bit of the front end.... which kinda sucks as i'll be pretty damn poor when i get home so first things first i'm going to get a job and save for the important things first. I'm just glad i put frame sliders on when i did or there would have been more damage [&:]
