Is this a good deal on a set of fairings?

I'm looking for a all black set that shines. I heard that these fade quickley but i'd like to know if I put an extra coat of clear coat on them will that stop the fading. Any help is greatly appreicated. Thanks

 

Yea i would say NO to those fairins i bought some repsol replica ones and they do have a bit of some fitment problems and if you hit something they crack pretty easily made with bondo some plastic and fiberglass !! i had my repsol ones on for about 5 months and the tank faded pretty bad

 

well do you know where I could get a nice looking set of fairings? I dont want to spend $1500 or more on OEM ones. Thanks

Buy a wrecked set for cheap and paint them what you want.

 

Just ebay it if your in no rush. Either get mismatch colors and get it painted or sometimes i see guys parting out whole bike.
