has anyone tinted their headlights??? im just curious how itd work and what itd look like!

 

i smoked my lights on my car and you still see at night...but im going to smoke my bike soon ill post som pics of it i also smoked my singals and my tail light on my 05 cbr600rr..i think it looks bad ***

 

Smoked them yourself? or did you buy them from somewhere? I wanna get the headlights on mine smoked, but I don't wanna pay much for it.

 

i did them myself..there is a product you can buy that is called night shade made buy VHTits only $16.00 and it is in a spray can...check on ebay for it.. i got mineat my local autoparts store...

Tint will discolor super quick. The spray tint is a better bet, they do sell tinted lenses though, snapon/off removable.

 

now if you have the equipment i know how to make night shade...its clear coat with singel stage black.the more black you add the darker the mix...

 

What's wrong with smoked vinyl film? That stuff is incredible and doesn't fade, nor is it expensive, nor is it 100% permanent. I used the same stuff (red though) to cover my Rizoma tail light because the clear plastic was fading from the sun. AMAZING stuff, and it's available in light or dark smoke.

tinted lenses are a great idea! but where to buy??? blue fox's link is for cars, or does it come in sheets and one can just cut it??
