Default got my 05 600rr

Went and picked up my 600rr today. Paid $4200 for the bike with 23,000 on it. Along with $75 off a new icon helmet. A lot of miles i know. It seems to run fine for now. I also got a 2 year warranty for $50 a month. When they brought it in they put on a new rear tire, rear brakes, and a yoshi pipe. I also made a pleasant discovery in the trunk. There is a dyno jet power commander III hooked to it. They either didn't know it was there or didn't care because they didn't say anything about it to me. So heres my problem. I have no idea how to work the thing.... Not really sure where to start reading on it either. Any help with that would be great.

If it has a custom map, dont touch it and leave it be... Does it run rich? or lean? Is it smooth through out the rpm range? If it is to your likeing as far as running condition leave it be. However you can go to dynojet web site for the power commander and look at the installation directions as well as default maps for it. also may want to down load the free softwear from thatwebsite as well. copy the map from your power commander just incase you lose the map and power commander loses its memory for whatever reason.
Nice bike BTW it looks good. enjoy.

Thanks. This is definitely different than my F2.
As far as my pcIII goes i think its running rich. I can smell it and if you rev it up it backfires and flames come out the tail. Unless the flames are normal for a 600rr. As far as the maps go should I use the stock map? The only other one I would use is the yoshi full exhaust. However I doubt it has a full exhaust though. Any way to check?

Ok just hooked up the power commander to my computer. Assuming that I did this rite The map it had was set for a jardine slip on. They changed the pipe to a yoshi at the dealership. I changed the setup to stock exhaust since there wasn't a yoshi slip on setting. I must have done it rite because I can't smell fuel anymore and it didn't backfire.

Just to be sure I'll put up the steps I used
I pushed get map to see what it was mapped for.
Then I pushed open map file and opened the stock bike map.
The I pushed send map.
After that it seemed to run better.
Also is there anyplace that I could get a map for a yoshi slip on map? There is not one on their site.
