Default Girlfriends wrecked bike

She wrecked on the way too Laguna Seca and on the way home for Laguna Seca. Hit gravel both times. Luckily she had frame sliders mounted they did an awesome job.

Wait a minute.... you had to cut the fairing for the frame sliders. Is this an 05? I didn't know you could get the 05 in blue and I thought the 03 and 04 frame sliders worked without cutting.

I'm pretty sure '03 - '05 require fairing cutting. I had to cut my fairings on my '04.

She was fine she's a tough broad. Its a 2004. Yeah, you still have to cut the fairing from 03 to 05.

Glad to hear she is ok. Thanks for the info on the frame sliders, I thought the 05's were the only ones you had to cut.

Good to hear. Good thing she had the sliders or it would have been really bad. I didn't realize gravel was such a danger till the other day when my rear tire whipped out under me!!

DAMN, two crashes on one trip, that is all kinds of bad. Makes me wanna get damned sliders, not that I plan on crashing just better to have them IN CASE ya do. I hit gravel a couple times, gives you a decent slide, not nearly as big as cow grates, those ***** have screwed me up more than once.
