Default fuel leak

i was wondering if any CBR 600 owners have had any problems with leaks from the gas tank. i have a brand new bike that is in the shop already for a leak that is coming from a crease in the gas tank. the techs at the shop said they have never seen anything like this and Im looking at a tank replacement already. anyone have any ideas??

It happens.

You can use an epoxy to seal the crease. Your best bet of a permanent fix is a new tank.

I wouldn't worry about too much. They will fix it and you will have an awesome bike. You will have a great time with it! Better than a cracked frame I always say...

if it's brand new i wouldn't worry about it, they'll warranty a new tank for you and you'll be set
