Default The front of my bike has melted?

So I had mentioned this over the summer, but did not have a camera to properly document it. Basically, the front fairing above the running like has a giant warp in it from the heat, and the plastic thing to the side of the light has totally melted. My bike is under warranty so I am going to go to the dealer and have it all fixed up for nothing, but I was just wondering if anyone else ran into this problem. Im planning on the HID kit anyways, which run cooler to my understanding.. but I can not do that until after the warranty work gets done. The pics are my my iphone so they arent the greatest but I think they help. Thanks guys!

Look at where the black plastic meets the nose cone.. you can see a warp in the plastic in both the nose cone and the light side.

Yeah, I can see the rippling in both the blue and black areas.

Weird. Almost looks like impact damage (not that it impacted anything, just saying it looks like that).

Yeah, I see it too. Is the blue part bubbled too, or is it just the thin-plastic black piece? Definitely get that replaced under warranty. Hamster has the 07 with HID's, and his is fine.

It is both the black part and the nose cone! It appears that it melted along the upper light housing beneath the fairing. I know its under warranty, it just sucks and is strange. I have asked this question a few times on this forum and no one else has seen of it or heard of it. Ill let you guys know what happens when I bring it back to Honda. Just weird and was looking for some feedback. I really want to do the HID conversion but I am unsure if this will happen again, or whatnot. If i do the conversion I will ruin the warranty, and I dont want to be replacing nose cones all the time, that will get costly.... What you all think?

How many miles are on your bike? I am kind of anxious to hear what your dealer tells you. I bet they tell you it is an isolated case and they have not seen this happen yet. I was pondering placing some reflective heat tape inside the fairings that are warping on my bike as a precautionary measure. Maybe that wouldn't do any good since it is enclosed and there is no place for the heat to go.

3,300... and a good part of that was going to and from Montauk on the weekends. Its about a 150 mile round trip. Many of my miles are highway, shes not that old. I was thinking initially that there might be a recall through honda. I figured they would just replace the fairing and drill out the housing to let more light in? I brought the bike to them once in like the middle of August (I got the bike in the beginning of June) but did not have my 600 mile service receipt on me and they said I needed it (which I later found out was crap and that they should have looked at it then but none the less, I have the receipt). They had heard nothing of it, but wanted to take it in and take it apart, etc... Just have not got around to bringing it back yet. I got a flat shortly there after and decided it was time to polish the wheels, upgrade the tires, etc,... where it still is up on pit stands. I will keep you all posted....

Here are some more pics of the melting that I took the other day...
