RE: Frame Sliders for 600RR, Which Are Better?
i live down the road from EMA and work a block away.
i am very familiar with them
eric knows when i call and will even match prices from other websites.
(since i told him it was stupid for them to ship to where i bought them from, then to ship them back to me, and im only 3 miles from EMA)
LOL
oh and in case anyone is still debating.
the no-cut (at least for the 07-08) has a bracket that goes behind the main frame girdle, and then bolts the slider onto the main engine mount bolt, if anything the bolt is going to bend or break, not the mount.
grade 8 hardware can only take so much...

I've run a LOT, and seen even more different sliders racing over the years... And tested my fair share too.
Woodcraft are hands done the best out there. Second would be the euro-racing / Yoyodyne sliders.
The only "no-cut" I would even consider are the R&G. I've seen enough "no cut" sliders punch through engine cases on 600rr's that I just won't even chance it.
I haven't seen the Motovation slider really tested yet on a 600rr, But the couple I've seen on GSXR's worked well.
They stick out plenty far to do what they're designed to do... save the frame.... Trust me.

I like the woodcraft ones, but I am afraid they don't stick out from the bike far enough.

RE: Frame Sliders for 600RR, Which Are Better?
I have not decided which way to go...but I am leaning heavily towards the R+G frame sliders and weighted bar ends... I would get the Woodcrafts if I had a racer, but I do need the extended one's to protect my fairings as much as possible as well... my bike is mint and even a simple fall over would devastate it and me...so the longer the better for my application.
My Vortex Rear Sets I am quite impressed with actually, as for the sliders, not so much. I have the Voretx swing arm sliders that hook up with my rear bike stand and that's about it. I've never heard anything good about their frame sliders... something about them biting into asphaly and casung the bike to flip in lowslides and bolts breaking off and just stuff like that...plus they always seem way over-priced.
