Default frame sliders for an 05'?

I am looking at an 05' 600rr and one of the first things I would like to do is get frame sliders. It looks like I am going to have to cut holes in the fairing to do so. Am I right or just seeing things. and if so is it just as simple as using a hole saw?

yes you will have to cut hole in the fairings but it not just a simple line it up and take a stab at it you need to do a search for a thread that shows how to do this. OEM plastics are not cheap.

Dude! I just had mine cut! If you do the right measurements you should come out on top. Depending on the size of the frame slider, a hole saw is the best way.

When you go to cut, put that blue painters tape surrounding the cut surface and then cut through. When you finish cutting, peel the tape off for a clean cut. Also, whatever the color of your fairings, the part where the hole was cut, like the inner part, I colored with a permanent black marker and it looks fantastic. Good luck!
