Default Flush Mount Wire Job for running lights

OK so real quick i got this idea in my head after finding out im going to lose running lights when i install hotbodies...can i wire them like this

Stock Wire Hot Bodies
BLUE Running Lights-------------------RED Postive Wire
BLUE W/STRIPE Blinker-------------------------------BLACK Negative Wire
Ground------------------------------- Grounded to screw on Flush Mounts in between light insert and nut?

JUst something been kicking around. If any one knows if this would work. Drop me an email.I really like the look of the Hotbodies but just dont want to part with the running lights.
