over 70 in first gear

 

I have heard 76 form a guy that has an 05rr

 

I tested it today on my bone stock 06 rr 695 miles on the clock... I reved all the way to 15100 in first and was going around 100 mph, I was amazed, i shifted into second and pulled easily to 120. If you rev 1st all the way out it will pull like a s.o.b.

 

i just did it on my 04 rr and i hit 75 at redline

 

well, completely stock i had these speeds on my speedo per gear

1 = 86mph
2 = 112mph
3 = 138mph


then with the speedo healer at 6.5% error i had in Sh

1 = 80mph
2 = 105mph
3 = 129mph

then i put the 15T sprocket on... 13.1% error input into SH

1 = 72mph
2 = 100mph
3 = 125mph


so is this about what everyone is getting for the first 3 gears? and from personal experience only, what do the R1 and GSXR get with a speedo healer with/without the regearing....

this was on a 1000RR though...

 

Just tried this on my '03 cbr600rr

1st gear at redline was 73 mph indicated

 

im gonna end this tomorrow, lol, *charging the gps*

 

I forgot about this thread... I'm showing the same as seelCBR600RR.

1st gear rev limiter kicks in on my correct speedo at 73 mph.

 

hi gentlemen,
dont mean to crash in on your party but i rode a 03 600rr for 3 years 1st gear 72 at red line stock went down 2 in front up 1 in rear 62 mph to redline in first. i now own a 1000rr 90 just befor redline

 

I was gonna say cause there is no way the 600RR does 80 something in first. The RVT has a long as 1st gear and its close to 85-90 in first.
