If the bike's fuel injected I wouldn't recommend removing the baffles. Changes the compression and can definately make performance worse. Get an aftermarket can.

Changing your exhaust does not change your compression in your engine. Buying an aftermarket exhaust is pretty much the same as modifing your stock muffler. The have less restiction and baffles just a little more engineering into them. Just modifing your stock muffler will not hurt your engine. Yes you might lose a little performance and fuel mileage... or u might gain who knows. Normally it will run a little lean down low in the rpms from what I have found. If you dont want to spend the money go for it.
