Ok, so I have an 05 600rr and it has the BEAUTIFUL underseat exhaust! Which IS nice and looks great, however...it is so quiet I can't hear it for the motor noise! I do NOT have any left over cash after just purchasing this thing but would like to let her make a little noise!!!! I know on my buddies r6 he just drilled out the rivets holding the tip on, and removed the end, then cut an inch off each end then replaced the ends! it sounds AWESOME for stock! Any ideas? thanks

 

Rather then trashing my stock pipe I went with the Yosh RS-5 slip on. was 300.00 to my door. Anyway I have my stock pipe 100% the way Honda made it incase I ever want to put it back on or say when I sell it the buyer wants the stock exhaust. Wait a bit save some cash and buy a aftermarket the looks and sound are way better then gutting the stock pipe

 

Yeah, I went for an RS-5 with my 05 1000RR. I think it looks the best. But I highly recommend when you have to take all that crapp off, you might as well put a fender eliminator on there too. It looks sooooo much better.

 

dont wreck the stock pipe, im going with the micron pipe cause it sounds great. it has a little deeper tone than the yosh rs-5 and it has a double tip just like the 1000rr do. the micron is a little bit more than the yosh. i just wanted to be different cause everyone has the yosh on the 600.

 

drksidr, once you have your Micron installed you will have to let me know how you like it. Are you going to install a Power Commander with it? I was leaning toward a Two Brothers but after doing some more research I am more undecided then before. I would like to see the Micron dual outlet exhaust with out the OEM fender. Can you take a pick for us? Also do you know if Microns the slip on is the same one used on their full system incase I want to upgrade to a full system later? I plan on doing something this month for sure as far as slip on, Power Commander and fender eliminator kit goes.

there's nothing wrong with two bros, i've heard all the other one's and i still think it's the best sounding. i got the alum and i've heard it works just as well as any other

 

I think I will keep my exhaust stock because I just hate the look of all of the aftermarket ones. It just looks cheap and under-engineered with a naked can sticking out the back. I dunno, just me I guess.......

 

That was my next question!!!! What do all of them look like under the seat!???? I saw a guy with a two brothers carbon and it looked like A$$!!!! It stuck out past the tail like 4 or 5 inches!!!! I want a pipe that FITS!!! Otherwise, I'm guttin the stock one!! I just want a little les restriction, and a little louder!!!
