dropped bike
my brother in law just recentley layed his bike it's an 06 cbr600rr. we try starting but does not crank. all the intrument lights are working but won't crank. now we looked at the side where it was layed and the on/off switch looks tweeked and cracked. would that be the problem for it not tostart?..and if it is the problem how is it to replace?

RE: dropped bike
I know when I laid my Katana down last year it would not start until I pulled the fuses and then re-inserted them. Kind of like a reboot or reset.

RE: dropped bike
on/off switch???
do you mean the kill switch thats easy 2 bolts then trace the harness back to the plug if it dropped then it triggered the tip over switch to reset it you have to turn the key on and cycle the kill switch on and off i am guessing that you already did this but just putting it out there |
RE: dropped bike
yeah we tried recycle thekill switch but nothin happen it still didn't crank the engine...we can see the switch inside thats how pretty ****ed it is..so maybe its damage from inside and won't retrieve signal from the ecu. hopefully thats the problem. i think i'm going to replace the switch. thanks fo the info guys.
