Yeah, it just depends on where you live though. Like my Dealership:

$9,499 Base
$425 Freight
$425 Setup
$1025 Tax, Tax, Title, Doc
________
$11374.99 is a Full Retail Deal by us. If you can get it for $9500 OTD including all that, you did perfectly fine. Cause its almost a mini deal for the dealershisp. Their G.P is about a grand.

Freight and Set-Up are part of the MSRP, do not let any dealer tell you other wise. And this holds true in the lower 48. Not sure about Hawaii or Alaska

$12,000 OTD for me down in Tx... First white one they sold in the area! So I could have paid $100,000 for all I care! I have the first of something at least.. From now on whoever gets one will be posing! HAHA

No they are not. Its like if you order one off the interent you still pay it. It is not part of MSRP.

To anyone who still thinks people bull**** about how much they paid for their 07' Here's the link to the dealership where I bought mine. $8299.00+tax+5yr warranty=just below 9K out the door. Sorry for those that paid 3K to 4K more. You got ripped, but who really cares, you have the bike and that's all that matters.

Hahah, thats nuts man! I guess WE have good taste! =D

And thanks to those who made me feel a bit better - Who knows if I could have gotten a better deal, but I can't change it like you guys said. All i know, is that I love my new bike, and I am having a ton of fun with it! I've already put 130 miles on her from yesterday - I can't wait until I get to 500 miles so I can open her up a little bit!

We do have good taste. hahah. It was only temporary until my Suomy Extreme gets here. Pretty excited about it. Then it turns into the passenger helmet. **** man, The two break ins I have heard of are the factory ones which you are doing and ride it like its already broke in. I have got criticized for it, but over time, I have seen this break in more effective. Bike to Bike, same model, year, and so on have proved different results. Seems like the break in that I did (Not Factory) yielded a little bit more power on the Dyno and quicker ET's and Lap Times (Same rider).

I am glad you are enjoying yours. I sure did the first few weeks having mine. I put 1200 miles on it in a week

Again location makes a difference. I'm not so sure anyone here paid that much over, but in some places, they will pay MSRP. Also, just because the website says so, doesnt mean thats the deal. They use it to get you in there where they find another place to rape you. Not all, but some. If you look at my contract, it says that I actually paid 7800 for the bike. I know thats not the truth.
