my bike on a dyno was 10mph off

 

yeah if you strap a GPS to your bike you'll be suprised how bad the error is. my bike is stock and 72mph=65mph. 165 indicated probably means that you're only doing 140 or so. they always error up for some reason (safety related maybe?)

 

Mine was off by about the same amount at 65 with GPS.

 

Really are they off that much? I had my 06 up to 174 tacked out pretty much. Where can you get one of those speedo healers?

How many have actually MAXed out & used a GPS for a accurate reading?

 

speedo should be off about 12% to 15% including tire variance
