I was wondering whats a good waterproof cover out there for a reasonable price??

I was told not to use a waterproof cover if inside. It will trap moisture which can cause corrosion if left for to long.

Any covor will do, even if it is not waterproof. All you would have to do is spray the fabric with tent spray, or some other spray water sealnt.
