Why does it matter? Is some big guy that just took you lunch making fun of you because you don't lean far enough for him? Ride the bike to your own ability and if you have 1 inch or 5 inch "chicken strips", who cares?

just didnt want 2 wear my neww mpp's uneavenly i guess it doesnt matter just know what i was doing wrong if anything

 

"chicken" strips are the unused portion of your tire along the sides-
If you dont ever lean you will have a substancial strip of fresh tread so to say. So if you are "chicken" and afraid to lean into your turns you will have larger "chicken strips."
I've only been riding a few months and I still have a couple inches left. They will go away in time, but for now, Im a chicken.

as a matter of fact, I did that, almost made it too if I hadnt started dragging hard parts. I did get a new bike
