Dont push yourself to far!!! (Thats my advice). You'll end up in a guardrail or on the side of the road. Its not nice.

It's all about practicing PROPER technique! Don't push yourself at all, but rather, learn technique and go practice until it becomes automatic.

It will come with time. I thought I would never rid myself of strips, but they are just about gone now.

i think its all in getting comfortable. take it slow, step by step. not trying to sound high and mighty, as i've only been riding since april. since then, i've put 4K+ miles on my bike. when i first got it i had 1 1.5" strips and now im below a 1/2"!!! i ride windy roads alot and i think its about being comfortable on the bike and not cocky at the same time. i notice mine shrinking now, and im NOT EVEN trying to lose them. im just comfortable on the bike leaning at that angle/speed.

I lost my chicken strips at under 10mph in a parking lot doing figure 8's... Took me 10 minutes and my whole tire was evenly worn... HEHE Yeah BABY!!!

or just take a 25 mph turn at 70...strips will be gone...one one side...you'll probably need a new bike.
