chatter at deceleration
I just bought a 600rr after riding awhile i'm starting to notice a bounce or chatter when im in gear and letting the engine slow the bike down. It seems to start when the rpms get down below 4 or 5g's and the bike is going slow. I have put on two new tires and it is still there.

ORIGINAL: musher2d SCREW YOU GUY'S TO I'M JUST ASKING A SIMPLE QUESTION IF YOU DONT WANT TO ANSWER IT THEN KEEP YOUR **** HOLE CLOSED Have you checked yourchain tension? Is the engine lugging? |
RE: chatter at deceleration
Sorry guysI apologies for that replythis wasthe first time i have posted a Q and that was not the reply i wasexpecting
The chain seems to have the right tension about an 1 1/4" of play The engine is not lugging but it starts at about 3g's on the tack that might be to low for such a high reving engine?? |
RE: chatter at deceleration
If your at 3k rpm kick it down a gear, if your in first gear, pull the clutch and coast to a stop. You don't need to lug the engine below 3k.
