CBR 600rr worst of the Japanese bikes?
Hey guys, I'm not trolling -I just bought a cbr 600rr 2012- but I have been watching the World Sportbike races and well...
...with the extra weight from an underail exhaust, fuel gage, and more upright seating position, are we regarded as the worst supersport on the market? I guess I'm wondering what our street cred is. |
You do know there isn't much stock on those bikes, right? And IIRC there was a Honda up in the mix during the Portugual race.
If you are worried about street cred, you should sell yours and go get a Busa... :icon_lolsign::icon_couchhide: |
You've got a CBR600RR and you're worried about street cred? Look at the Super Stock standings. Honda CBR600RR (closest to what you've got) is first place right now. The credibility of a machine means **** if you can't ride the damned thing.

I've got mad street cred, bitches.
|
Street cred isn't in the bike, Its in your riding ability.
|
They used to call me street cred.

My street name is Delicious. No rival squids ride these parts.

You know guys, the whole worry started when I heard that the riding position on the cbr 600rr wasn't as severe as the other bikes.
Lol, for a guy who wanted a sportbike because of watching movies like Tron and Robotech/Mospeada as a wee lad But I have to remind myself, that we're talking SUBTLE differences here; my ride's still very much a forward rider position 'crotch rocket'! http://www.cbr600rr.com/forum/Smileys/new/smiley.gif |
